NORMA JAYNE IS A DYNAMIC AND TREND setting stylist and writer whose credits include top publications such as STYLE.COM, BritishVogue.com, ELLE Denmark, Sportswear International and Surface. With over fifteen years of experience, she has an innate ability to forecasts trends to create groundbreaking fashion editorials and cutting edge celebrity style. Her high fashion blog, VeryVeryChic, has been recognized by top sites such as Refinery29, and she has been honored to be invited to cover exclusive events such as the Louis Vuitton show in Paris and Christian Dior boutique opening in Beverly Hills.

A tastemaker and purveyor of West Coast design talent, Norma Jayne cut her teeth as the Fashion Editor for California Apparel News for over ten years. Attending key industry trade shows and fashion weeks has given her a broad understanding of today’s market and West Coast style. In particular, the contemporary, denim and swimwear markets, which she has covered in-depth. Traveling is a favorite past time and Norma has visited nearly 25 countries on adventures ranging from scuba diving in Australia to scouring flea markets for vintage finds in Paris and exploring museums and architecture in Rome. She was an exchange student in London where she first developed her love for high fashion and international style. Professionally, Norma has traveled to Paris, New York, Moscow, Miami, Tel Aviv, Shanghai, Sydney and Sao Paulo to cover international fashion weeks and trade events. Most recently, she was invited to cover Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia, which she covered for Sportswear International.

Norma Jayne’s talents span the gamut from fashion to film, TV, commercials and music videos in which she channels her unique, cinematic flair. Early in her career, she assisted on commercials for two years under renowned director Joe Pytka, where she learned the importance of perfection on every level from costuming a “real” everyday character to creating a highly stylized look.

As a freelance stylist, she has worked with top photographers including Joshua Jordan, Kurt Iswarienko, Signe Vilstrup, Just Loomis and Andrew Macnaughton. Norma Jayne styled the principal background in Carrie Underwood's "Smoke Break" music video, which was directed by Randee St. Nicholas and won the CMT Music Award for Female Video of the Year. Celebrity clients have included James Franco, Brandon Boyd (Incubus), Coco Rocha (The Face), Danny Huston, James Tupper, Charlie Bewley, Bailey Chase, Max Ehrich, SOFI, and Collective Soul. 


Norma Jayne has styled multiple ad campaigns including Americana at Brand and T3Micro as well as lookbooks for L.A. denim brands such as Goldsign and Agave. She is a member of the Motion Picture Costumers Union Local 705 and has worked on feature films including “Charlie’s Angels: Full Throttle,” and “Bring It On Again;” television shows such as “CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,” and “Days of Our Lives;” and has styled commercials including Toyota, Roundtable Pizza and Kraft.
